The Annual Mel Maria LifeLink Charity Walk was a resounding success with the whole school walking together for charity.
The sun shone as our students walked along the 6km journey. We stopped at Troy Park for morning tea and enjoyed games and activities organised by our Year Six Leadership Teams. Our Mel Maria community has shown its traditional generosity and a great amount of $22,505 has been raised for the following important Catholic charities. Some of the agencies include:
- Catholic Ministry for people who are deaf or hearing impaired
- Catholic Outreach
- Samaritan Projects
- Shopfront has grown and expanded its services due to fundraising such as ours
